The 8 limbs of yoga provide a comprehensive guide for living a meaningful and purposeful life. While yoga is often associated with physical postures (asanas), the 8 limbs encompass much more - ethical principles, self-discipline, breath control, concentration, and meditation.
As a modern man, you can weave the essence of these limbs into your daily life with some simple practices:
Yamas (Moral Disciplines) Start your day by setting an intention to embrace the yamas - nonviolence, truthfulness, non-stealing, continence, and non-possessiveness. Be mindful of your actions and words.
